Grown up on 80's and 90's rock and hip-hop, SV is a Boston (Mass) based, passion project with a love of breaking the rules. You'll find my music is a match for pop radio, rock radio, EDM playlists, and more.

Influenced by the alt rock greatness of Smashing Pumpkins, crossover innovations of Linkin Park and 311, hip-hop creators of Doug E Fresh and Beastie Boys, and loving the 2010s+ sounds of twenty øne pilots, Panic! At The Disco, and Billie Eilish and Finneas... I strive to create innovative and timeless new music, that's familiar yet new. What began as brain child of Shawn Valle (from the award winning Suspicious Hooligans), SV has morphed into collaborations with contributions from friends along the way.

Established in 2017, SV released the first single in 2019, initially under the band name Special Victim, and released a series of singles during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

In 2021 I released a remix EP, which I find funny since I still haven't released a full traditional album yet.

I am creating new music and videos in 2024. I have selected the 12 or so songs that will make up my new album. If it stays on track, I expect a 2025 album release, and some live shows to support it.
